Ratzinger denies the Real Presence... �Eucharistic devotion such as is noted in the silent visit by the devout in church must
not be thought of as a conversation with God. This would assume that God was present there locally and in a confined
way. To justify such an assertion shows a lack of understanding of the Christological mysteries of the very concept of God.
This is repugnant to the serious thinking of the man who knows about the omnipresence of God.
To go to church on the ground that one can visit God who is present there is a senseless act which
modern man rightfully rejects.� |

the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ are not in the sacrament of the
Eucharist and in the consecrated hosts or particles which are reserved
(in the tabernacle) the true body and blood of our Lord remain not, let

Ratzinger has rejected and ridiculed the core Catholic doctrine of Original Sin in public homilies he delivered in Munich,

The doctrine of original sin is a truth revealed by God in passages of the Old and New Testaments, but especially in the texts of Genesis 3:1-20. Sacred Tradition and the Church Magisterium teach that the sin of the first man is transmitted to all his descendants not through imitation but through propagation. |

Ratzinger is an Evolutionist, which by definition makes one an athiest. To quote Ratzinger...

Ratzinger favors Ecumenism... The train that took the false religious leaders from the Vatican to Assisi was described by Ratzinger as �a symbol of
our pilgrimage in history� Are we not all, perhaps, passengers on the same train?... Is not the fact that the train chose
as its destiny peace and justice, and the reconciliation of peoples and religions, a great inspiration and, at the same time,
a splendid sign of hope?� |
�Conventions, meetings and addresses are frequently arranged by these persons, at which a large number
of listeners are present, and at which all without distinction are invited to join in the discussion, both infidels of every kind,
and Christians, even those who have unhappily fallen away from Christ or who with obstinacy and pertinacity deny His divine nature and mission.
Certainly such attempts can nowise be approved by Catholics, founded as they are on that false opinion which considers all religions to be
more or less good and praiseworthy ... Not only are those who hold this opinion in error and deceived, but also in distorting
the idea of true religion they reject it, and little by little, turn aside to naturalism and atheism, as it is called; from which it
clearly follows that one who supports those who holds these theories and attempt to realize them, is altogether abandoning the divinely

Ratzinger does not condemn laxness in Catholics...
�I have nothing against people who, though they never enter a church during the year, go to Christmas Mass, or
go on the occasion of some other celebration, because this is also a way of coming close to the light. Therefore,
there must be different forms of involvement and participation.� |
�All those who permit themselves to be lax in the practice of the faith will freeze

Ratzinger rejects the notion that non-Catholics should be converted... �The new text describes the relationship between the Church and non-Catholic Christians without speaking
of �membership.� By shedding this terminological armor, the text acquired a much wider scope� The
Catholic has to recognize that his own Church is not yet prepared to accept the phenomenon of multiplicity in unity;
he must orient himself toward this reality� Meantime the Catholic Church has no right to absorb other Churches.� |
�It is a great consolation to receive correspondence from the four corners of the world.
At a slow but regular pace people are joining Our world wide parish...That joining makes them one in the Mystical Body of Christ.
What ruptures the Mystical Body of Christ? It is heresy, schism and apostasy. To get back into the Church those persons repent
of their break from Christ, they make their profession of faith and receive an absolution that receives them back into the Church
with the right to receive the sacraments. Once that has been accomplished the convert goes to confession to receive the absolution

Ratzinger denies the Resurrection of the Body...

on the day of judgment all men will be brought together with their bodies before the tribunal of Christ to render an account

Ratzinger teaches that schismatic sects (e.g., the �Orthodox� sects) have the Church of Christ present in them, even though they reject the Papacy... �Therefore, the Church of Christ is present and operative also in these Churches, even though they lack full communion
with the Catholic Church since they do not accept the Catholic doctrine of the Primacy, which, according to the will
of God, the Bishop of Rome objectively has and exercises over the entire Church.� |
�There are other, almost countless, proofs drawn from the most trustworthy witnesses which
clearly and openly testify with great faith, exactitude, respect and obedience that all who want to belong to the true and only Church
of Christ must honor and obey this Apostolic See and the Roman Pontiff.� �Finally, in one word, stay close to Us. For no one can be in the Church of Christ without being in unity with its visible
head and founded on the See of Peter.� �Therefore if a man does not want to be, or to be called, a heretic, � but let him hasten before all things to be in
communion with the Roman See.� |

Ratzinger holds that the Jews can validly continue to await the coming of the Messiah...
In late 2001, the Pontifical Biblical Commission released a book entitled The Jewish People and the Holy Scriptures in the Christian Bible. This book argues that the Jews� wait for the Coming of the Messiah is justified and validated by the Old Testament. Ratzinger wrote the preface for the book. So, in doing so, Ratzinger denies that that Jesus Christ is Messiah. |
